Cast
Todd Caryl
“Jason“
Long before training at Toronto’s Second City Conservatory, or going to Glendon College for drama, Todd was a nerd – playing old-school paper and pencil roleplaying games in some basement in Orillia. Knights, Quests, Goblins and yes, even Bards were a staple of his youth. Todd is so excited to bring together two of his passions, acting and RPGs, in this fantastic new webseries, which has been so much fun to help make. When not on stage or onscreen, Todd is performing as an substitute teacher at a local school board. Todd would like to thank the amazing cast and crew, his wonderful family and friends, and most of all, Sally. Thanks for watching. “Roll for awesome.” Find Todd on Twitter.
Meaghan Fritchley
“Dani”
Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Meaghan Fritchley was introduced to the worlds of table-top role playing, occult themed playing cards and video games by the tender age of 9. Their inherent theatricality led her to Toronto where she received her BFA Honours in Theatre from York University with specializations in Devised Theatre and Theatre Production (since there is no such thing as obtaining a degree by playing any of those games). While stage managing (read: DM’ing) such shows as [Sic] (Toronto Fringe 2010, Next Stage Theatre Festival 2010), Quarter Life Calamity (Toronto Centre for the Arts 2010, Toronto Fringe 2009), and A Streetcar Named Gerrard (Toronto Fringe 2008). Pretty in Geek is Meaghan’s first webseries and she has been especially excited to dust off her dice for the outing.
Jennifer Rose Krukowski
“Stacey”
Stefne Mercedes
“Anna”
Stefne Mercedes is excited to be making her web series debut on Pretty In Geek. Born and raised in New Hampshire, she attended musical theatre school in New York City before moving to Toronto in a misguided attempt to become a Mountie. After being rejected by the RCMP, she returned to the world of theatre and film, where she sometimes gets to wear neat hats and the color red.
Elize Morgan
“Erin”, Creator/Writer
Elize is a graduate of the CFC’s Television Writing program, has an MA in television and web intersections, and makes an amazing pie. Elize is also a consummate web nerd and a lover of the mythical d30. Her favourite dice are long lost, but were translucent with sparkles in the middle. Elize also would like to make the matter clear: the inn deserved it, and those villagers are lying. Elize can be found via the web at her site www.elizemorgan.com, and on twitter.
